I think I have decided on something:
I have decided to respect the privacy of someone I care about very much, but who currently does not care for me. Or at least does not currently wish to think about what it entails for his state of mind if he were to care about me.
Though my long weekend of drama and emotion would be well-capped by visiting a certain web page, I will not. Because, you see, enough damage has already been done. And I want everything to be better.
My God, that was so vague, I could be talking about anything.
Now, time for nummies. What shall it be: an easy-to-prepare box of Asian-themed noodles, or Cocoa Krispies? Yum!
Rodney Expounded Thusly:
That does sound a bit like a conversation one might have with Aunt Clara…my apologies if you don’t know who Aunt Clara was or is.
Yes, me again. Expounded Thusly:
Suggestion: Revisit France for $5.99 and go to Ralphs to get a jar of Nutella and a bunch of bananas. Make some quick crepes using Bisquick (just make a VERY, VERY thin pancake batter) and enjoy … hopefully you DID have a Nutella-banana crepe when you were in France. Now THERE’S a nummy!
Steve Expounded Thusly:
1) I do not know the specific Aunt Clara of which you speak, but if she’s anything like MY Aunt Clara, God rest her soul, not mentioning booze and sexy lengerie would guarantee her disinterest.
2) I have a coupon to visit France for $4.95. With coupon doubling, that makes it $9.90. Too expensive.
3) I did have a crepe, but it was simply “chocolate.” And it was from a truck across the street from the Eiffel Tower. Truly gourmet!
Rodney Expounded Thusly:
I was referring to Aunt Clara from Bewitched. But your aunt sounds fascinating.
Steve Expounded Thusly:
Hooray! Bewitched! You mentioned Bewitched! Now the Forum has cahet.
I used to watch that show all the time, but like every other show I used to watch, I seem to have forgotten most of the details. I remember almost nothing about The Brady Bunch, which enrages most guys my age who have a minute-by-minute synopsis ready in their heads at all times. I also recall next to nothing about all those Sid and Marty Kroft shows…
Oh, wait! I take that back. There was Dyna Girl and the guy who walked like a chicken. There. Some details.
Sorry, I ain't takin' no comments on this page. Deal, y'hear?
