Well, this is pretty amusing:
I couldn’t tell if this was oldish, or newish, or what. But then that new Kodak logo comes up at the end… Huh! Guess Kodak has a new logo! This must have been a CES video.
Robb Expounded Thusly:
The logo change was a mistake. It was iconic. It took years and years to make it that way. Hell, it was recognizable without the name of the company attached. Why would you throw that away? Doesn’t make much sense to me. Especially to throw it over for a stupid FONT that will go out of style before the year’s out? Are you telling me that they couldn’t find a way to update the old logo to digital? It seemed pretty timeless to me.
Lame.
But the video was kind of funny. And my new-ish Kodak digital camera still has the old logo on it. So I win!

You are absolutely right. Really, what they shoudl have done is just update the font within the old logo. You don’t simply toss out a logo that’s instantly recognizable like that for… NO LOGO AT ALL! I have more to say, but I have to go… Damn.
Sorry, I ain't takin' no comments on this page. Deal, y'hear?
